Shell has long made a commercial to show how your Helix Ultra oil and keeps the engine clean. So clean, that if the engine is perfectly transparent. So what better way to build a transparent self!
The company asked an advertising agency to build a 37oZ Nissan, and a transparent engine size to show the oil.
In the video, explains that basically fell apart piece by piece and copied a real car to play on plastic and glass. The parties were finished by hand to ensure that each piece road where it belonged, while a second engine was produced twice the size of a real following the same procedure (piece by piece).
The idea was to create something that did not require much use of computer and special effects ... and the result is quite impressive.
