Alright, so I have no problem installing the HLDS binary, or meta/amxmodx, BUT when booting the server up with specifying the server's INTERNAL IP Address, it works and people are able to connect to it (only if they add my EXTERNAL IP address to their favorites or by doing "connect extiphere"), but it is not viewable on the internet tab. sv_lan 0 is already apart of the server.cfg.

If I specify no IP address when launching the server, the game decides my loopback (127.0.0.1) is most suitable to use. Does me no good :/

If I specify my EXTERNAL IP address, then I get an UDP OPEN SOCKET ERROR: Could not locate dedicated server on port 27015 and the server will not start.

Now I know you might think off the bat that it's a port forwarding issue, but I have checked and double checked my forwarding and it looks fine.

1200-1200 UDP
27000-27015 UDP
27030-27039 TCP

I'll post my specs anyhow
Core2Duo (it's a laptop I haven't checked exact specs for sometime so bare with me)
2 GB ram
100gb HDD
10/100 mbp/s ethernet
a/b/g wireless card.

I am running the server right now on a wireless connection, but plan to put it wired.

Well I am still specifying my internal IP address and it seems to be working. But if I set my cvar sv_region 0, then my server will show up on the internet tab if you do not filter the region. If I set it to 1 (west coast), it does not show up at all and if I specify 255 (global), well I don't believe it shows up at all either.

After countless hours researching, it seems as though specifying my internal address works fine. I am added to the master list for west coast :D

If you play cs 1.6 feel free to join me 173.58.103.200. I have no problem adding eg/o admins :D
