So I was looking at laptops when I realized I have no idea what to get, and then I thought to ask you! What type of laptop should I get that's affordable (around 600 dollars) and that I can still play games with.

Thanks.

Gaming on a laptop is not as good as gaming on a desktop.
What are your reasons for getting a laptop?

Personally, I would not game on a laptop, unless you have a reasonably good graphics card.

Your from the CSS division, and most laptops can run CSS fine. They can't usually handle much more than that sadly.

What's your budget ?

Derp?
(Not an insult to you, I'd to it to anyone, including myself).

Ooops, haha

The thing is, you can get a laptop for $600 that looks good on paper, and runs well for a while, and graphics might be okay. But I'm not sure how long it would last.

You might be able to get an HP one for that, but I'm not so sure

asus DOES make laptops in this range id go with them from new egg if for no other reason they have better warentees than their competitors and asus builds better quality laptops and generally uses better parts.

Also i have a Toshiba and my moms is a Toshiba as well hers was 500 dollars...i wouldn't say hers can game but its definitely a solid laptop in terms of computing. An mine is no where even close to your price range but it games better than my desktop and most peoples pc i know XD

Asus isn't very good at all. It's not solid in any aspect for me

Toshiba i've had VERY BAD EXPERIENCES WITH. they are brutally hot, battery life is bad, and the products themselves aren't great. They have horrible customer support also

Asus, most laptops bases are built by them then put into a different companies case =/ and Toshiba do have a meh battery life but mines rarely unplugged but idk why you don't like Asus so much?

GAH idk i suck at budget laptops because nothing under a 1000 dollar is worth looking at for me XD, i can do budget desktop though =/

I've just had too many bad experiences with toshiba to ever recommend them :/

I simply think laptops are not meant for gaming, except CSS maybe. They just aren't capable :/

Also for getting on to play my xbox while using it, because my desktop is all the way across the room :p, and playing a game in the mean time while I be a try-hard on MW2. Such as CIV, CSS, AoE.
