Problems with downloading maps.

I've gotta problem with downloading maps. Whenever I connect to a server and start downloading a map, after a few minutes it comes up with something like this: Missing map maps/gg_aim_ag_texture_jungle-l.bsp, disconnecting.

I've tried
cl_allowupload 1
cl_allowdownload 1
cl_downloadfilter all
sv_downloadurl=?"

cl_downloadfilter all- worked with 3 maps but now it doesn't.
Please Help!?!

That means the server does not have the map to download. Just look up the map on Fpsbanana or Google, download it, and put it in your Maps folder. You can do this while alt-tabbed.

Exactly as said there, just google the map and put it in your maps folder. No restart required.


Still experiencing problems? That might be caused by high download traffic from the server, or the server is malfunctioning.

Adding quick comment here;

Sometimes whoever added the map to the server, forgot or didn't zip it correctly onto the Fast Download site, which will give you the error since your computer is reading the fast download URL from the server, but the file isn't there hence the error.

Another problem might be, that you may already have the map, but it differs from the server version. Try going into your cstrike/Maps and looking for the map. (Hit "Ctrl+F and type key words of the map). If you find the map, delete or move the map out of your cstrike and try downloading the map again.
