Hey I was wondering who has capitalized on the preorder with gamestop to get the beta. If you have and would like to add me i would appreciate being able to play with some eGO people rather than the randoms that are on there. I got rolled twice today and its not looking too good . Post your names here if you are interested.

I have the beta, but I don't play it. It comes with no instructions on how to play (Is it just me or do ALL RTS' come with no tutorial or a very uninformative one?).

They do have a help thing ingame (F11, I think?) at the top left; it lists unit weaknesses and I think build orders. It lists other stuff, but I can't recall them

I understand, i got rolled twice back to back. Im just trying to learn myself. I figured that if i had a member of eGO to learn with we could both do each other a favor and teach ourselves. Its not really about competition its about knowledge and strategy. I can block and defend and rush on brood war but this is a whole new animal. We should take over SCII as a clan .

It might be helpful if you add the Region you play in as well since they might either have a US key, a EU key, or a KR key. Either way, you can hit me up on either the US or the EU region.

as i mentioned in another thread you posted slooker (you're a troll), i pre-ordered a copy of SC2 and was called about them havin a Beta key for me. So as soon as I get down to the store i'll have it and let you know afterwards.

have u guys ever played sc1 if you had u should know how to play sc2 its the same thing or but just it has more new heros or i should say new class ... but if you havent then its kind hard to say theres different way of building and every one has their own way of playin the game when i first log in n played a game one vs one against a random person he added me n gave me some pointers and its kinda hard to explain everything in a post but im still not that good compared to my other friend which pwned me in like 10 mins with really good army haha so yeah
my ign is heymrdudes / heymrdudes i can give u some tips from what i learned from that guy but the rest we gotta just play around with haha hoped that kinda helps u guys some how lol haha =]

Punctuation is your friend.

Regardless, it's still nice to be able to sit down and see the new information about the new units and new skills and such. That's a bit difficult to do in an actual game since it's all about rushing then so you don't get mauled by your enemy.

I figured it was worth it. I've been loving the beta. Lots of little tweaks to make the game better.

$5 pre-order just to play the beta, umm yeah def worth it, i am absolutely loving it, better than what i expected and im very picky to say the least. If you plan on buying the game, then spend $5 on a pre-order at gamestop and pick up your beta key and join the fun.

Well, I begged in the forums for a beta (using a strictly polite and antique language) and it somehow got me a beta. Still downloading, I'd like to play with EGO members. I'll let you know what's my name.

yes, custom games and ffa are unranked for play, and the patch thats being released right now will allow map editor to publish custom maps to b.net YAY!!! now i can test my map.
