Recently, I got a key into a beta game and while it was installing it showed if I met requirments, and I met all of them except for Available Memory, but I'm pretty sure somethings wrong.

Info it gave:

OS: Windows XP SP2
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor

Available Memory: .999 GB
Max Available Disk Space: 141.417GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX
Video Memory: 768.000 MB
Video Driver Version: 6.14.11.9621
Internet: Good

Is it a major problem I only have this much memory?

What're you asking here?

How much RAM do you actually have? That's showing 1 gig, are you saying you have more then 1 gig?

Well, it could be.

But, since it's in BETA, I wouldn't trust it 100%.

Can you tell us what game it is?

To see how much ram you have, right click on "My Computer", click "Properties", it should be listed near the bottom.

Well 1 gb isn't that great for gaming but its not a problem for general computing. so depending how demanding the game is for resources it could be a problem.....but simply having 1gb is not really a problem

All Points Bulletin

From the game's website:

PC Minimum Specifications:
Core 2 Duo 2Ghz or equivalent
2GB RAM (3GB for Vista64 / Windows 7 64)
nVidia GeForce 7800 - 256MB or equivalent
20GB Hard disk space

it seems the minimum is 2GB RAM, if you only have 1GB then you can't run it :(

well to easily answer your question, if you enjoy fast computing and gaming then yes. If you dont mind laggy processing speeds and not being able to play most games released last year and this year, then no its not a major problem.

I would highly recommend upgrading to four gigs of RAM

To have a great video card and a decent CPU and ruin it with not enough RAM (which for DDR2 can be super cheap) is really a shame.

I agree with the decision to upgrade you RAM. However, if you are running a 32bit operating system you may only want to upgrade to 2 gigs of RAM as 32 bit operating systems won't be able to see 4GB. If you can post some of your specs we can help you find what kind of RAM you should get.
