DOD:S doesnt start anymore

Hello....

I tried to join a server... 1 min ago.
But after the first 2 pictures you see when starting up DOD:S, i get a black screen. I can just go to the desktop with my windows buton.
But i keep getting the black screen.
Anybody else having this problem? Or knows a solution?

EDIT: This is a double post, the first thread is in DOD:S general forum, i think i have a bigger change here to get helped. So my first thread can be removed.

Try updating you graphic card driver.

Also, you can right click on the game in your steam menu and validate files.

My thoughts exactly. These two things usually solve this issue.

Well, it may be because the recent update broke the engine xD

I didn't get any black screens though, but the game was forcing me at 640x480res. They may have broke some vid.config.
