Today marks TF2's 119th update. To celebrate Players get medals based on how long they've played.

Players get the Grizzlied Veteran medal if they've played since release up to 3 months

Players get the Soldier of Fortune medal if they've played since 3 months to a year after release

and Players get the Mercenary medal if they've played since 1 year onward after release.

Holy cow that's a lot of updates. I started playing a little in between the Pyro and Heavy update, so I don't know what that is. Also, don't forget the action figures

We think that calls for a celebration.

To coincide with today's update, we are pleased to announce that our friends at The IP Factory will be releasing a limited edition collector's statue of the Heavy, which is the first in their 12 inch Team Fortress 2 line of collectible statues. The Heavy will come in both BLU and RED team versions and numbers are strictly limited.

The IP Factory will begin accepting Heavy statue pre-orders on Monday 3rd May 9.00am.

To grab a sneak peak of the Heavy statue in all of his glory visit their website at www.gamingheads.com.

Yeah, forget anything I said about this update. It's crap. It really has some serious bugs that will need another patch to fix.

Well I have yet tobget my medal because any time injoin a server either I am dropped or my game goes Down. Also is the medlas based off of since the update or snce the games first release.

You should get the right away after you get into the game and die, just like regular drops. I have yet to see anyone get one though. I haven't gotten mine yet either. =[

I guess they (Valve) noticed something is wrong and they pulled them back for now.

All TF2 patches come in pairs. The first one messes up everything, the second tries to fix it. They've been doing this for 119 updates, you should've seen this coming.

I think i only started playing it JUST after a year it came out, which stinks. I almost bought it when it first came out, but i had no monies at the time...
