Hewlett-Packard apparently realized that using Windows 7 for mobile devices is not as efficient, or maybe she peed in my pants to hear that Microsoft's own mobile project canceled Courier. What seems to be true, according to TechCrunch, is that HP dropped plans to continue development of the tablet that was supposed to dethrone the IPAD.
It is still a rumor, but if we give a deeper insight to the subject, we can see that it can have some truth. First, HP bought a Palm, that the fund was to access your operating system WebOS, a perfect and less complex than Windows 7 for a tablet. In addition, HP is likely to abandon the use of Intel chips for these devices as they consume too much energy.
This does not mean that HP is dropping the segment of the tablets, just going to re-design and possibly simplify the hardware components to coordinate with the specific operating system, instead of a notebook-size reduction in minimum.
It is regrettable that for the moment, the only commercial tablet in the market is ... yes, this gadget ... now, who can help?
