Cant get onto tf2 servers - HELP FAST

Im getting the following when trying to connect to any server

Host_Error: CL_CopyExistingEntity: missing client entity 2.

Its finishes sending client info, then drops me off.

Ditto after tonight's update. I assume they'll come up with a fix soon.

Fixed it. Try the following:

Close out of steam entirely.

Open up your steam directory. In the primary Steam folder you will see a file "clientregistry.blob". Delete it.

Restart steam, it'll do a short "update" to replace the file you deleted. Try playing the game again.

Edit: For the record I don't know that this technically fixed anything. It's just something we used to do a lot for general problems back in 1.3 DoD, and I tried it out of curiosity.

I talked to Scrappy, it's caused by the server I think. Leadership is looking into it

Try connecting to non-eGO server, if it doesn't work try verifying your game cache.

Also, what are your computer spec?
