Tonight, for those of you who were somehow unaware, there was a scrimmage against the T-E clan.
About ten seconds after the event opened...teams were full. We were ready and eager to kick some major butt! Event server was unable to be used, so they decided to use Colmar.
Setting gravity to the proper value apparently doubles as a "ban all" feature, as most of the server was instabanned, lol. Those responsible are now in Witness Protection.
Moving things to Donner, we were finally ready to roll. With a roster of talented people, we were not even rocking our "top" players (hey now--it was still a lot of really good players so don't get offended by that, guys--I am talking hlxstats rankings mainly). There were two, thirty-minute games planned. We were Axis first.
Instant respawn was on, so you can imagine the "problem" that presented with trying to cap the opponent's first flag. :S As a result, the first game was a "draw", with nobody actually winning out. HOWEVER, we did outscore them, 54-11.

Game two we were Allies and in full swing, ready to kick even more butt. We were so on fire and rolling as a team, it was inspiring to listen to in Vent.
"Sniper left window"
"Oh, he's down."
"Look out, three in that...yeah in there. They're down now."
"Tank alley"
"On it--got him"
etc. etc.
Things were going great, we were kicking butt, and their team started getting pissed. They began to rage quit...accuse players of cheating/hax...and a real cussing storm was a-brewin'. Some T-E people even dropped their clan tags, they were so furious from the domination.
In the end, instant respawn was the hardest enemy eGO had to face, as we outscored them an astonishing 67-1, but did not officially "win." Their one point also came from a mid tank capture with less than two minutes left in the round.

D_Day dropped by a T-E server shortly after the event and...well...they were not in the greatest of moods.
Way to go, guys.
