Secret Assassin

Tonight was the first EdgeGamers Bad Company 2 event, Secret Assassin. Secret bounties were set for each side and when one side collected, the bounty changed to the next one.

And, after participating and having a great time, I think we can say that the first eGO BC2 event was... well, in a word...

Fan-freakin'-tastic.

The bounties were fun, interesting, and incorporated a great variety of methods, people, and times to complete. I think whoever collected the "smoke stealth" bounty with a headshot from the back deserves a handshake (hint: it was me )

Everyone was really enthusiastic about the event and everything went extremely smoothly.

All in all, a definite success of an event and I really hope this sort of event becomes a regular occurrence.

+1 to the BC2 leadership!

Yes heck of a time guys, was a lot of fun. For the record there was 95,000 casino cash handed out.

• Gingertonic was the big winner of the night with 3 bounties and 20,000
  
  
• Master Gunns claimed 2 bounties and 10,000
  
  
• Maneki Neko claimed 2 bounties and 10,000
  
  
• xShadow got the final bounty of the night for 10,000
  
  
• Spray, Music, Noxx, Backstab, GingaNinja, Dave of Defeat, Mad Pistol, PepperRabbit and Dutchoper72 all claimed a bounty as well for 5,000 a piece.

Its a great time and a big success, if you couldnt make it or chose not to be sure to show up next friday, you wont regret it.

I think to make things easier/faster should have 1 DL/Advisor per team that sets the bounty for that team. Could still have Duality giving the bounties over vent/whatever to the Advisors who then tell their team via team chat.

But all in all, it was a fun time.

I absolutely loved the event even though I only got one once. I would suggest this, have everyone's name written down in the beginning, then choose then cross off the list. That way everyone will be picked. I know for sure that at least 6 people didn't get picked at all, me being one of them.

Well, I intend to be there but it was at 5am so I accidentally overslept it >.<

No way really? thats hilarious then :laugh:. Think I only got killed by it like 3 times. The other target got killed by it like 10 or 11 times. And if that's the case that everyone was picked at least once, then the event went 5 times better than I thought.

That 4x thompson bounty was the best lol. everyone in vent was just yelling "OMFG THIS GUN IS SO BADDDDDD LOLOLOLOL"
