If you can snag a 1055t at tigerdirect,(they were 125 roughly as of week ago) I would get it. However, the i7 is going to end up being a better processor as it has a superior architecture than the Phenom II's.
Again, if you have the money, go i7 and don't look back. If you are on a tight budget, go for an AMD-based computer.
