I still love Newegg, but since i learned of MC being about 30 minutes away, forget about it. EXCELLENT prices, as the cookie monster posted the i7 is about $90 less than the other guys. I do all my builds from there, and the huge plus is if something is defective. Your only half hour away.

Edit: Nice - 169 for the 920 and 199 for the 930 .

well that is a nice post bout the i7, but my dual core is still kicking. only issue is firefox (stupid cpu & ram resource hog). just need to get a memory upgrade here. btw, I do have a motherboard that isnt in use shadows if your interested. only 3 drawbacks (1 major & 2 minor however you look at it):

#1 only has 1 pci-e slot
#2 can only use ddr2 memory
#3 has 4-5 pci slots (sorry but i was big into pci slots a few years ago)

wont even cost ya $100. i got mine brand new for $80, & the other motherboard is still brand new, still in box (has all the extra trimmings, nothing has been removed).

Chrome is good until you get up into the 50 tab range, on my dual core with ~50 tabs, it got really slow

Nah, I think the next CPU upgrade I do (for a low price point) will be an i3, or 1155 equivalent. I don't know why, but (good) dual cores are like 3850s to you. I just have the need to get them. For no apparent reason. Lol.

Anyway, back on topic lol. It can't just be any motherboard. It has to have the 1366 brackets, which they released when the processors came out.

Ouch. There is a downside to having one close by, the place is addictive. I walk in for some TIM and end up walking out with a fan controller and whole set of fans that i have no use for. Antec 300 on sale $44 . AWESOME.
