Woke up this morning, and started goofing around on my computer. I looked at CPU-Z, and saw that my ram was not running in dual channel, which I thought was odd. So I attempted to figure out what the problem was.
In the process, somehow I corrupted Windows. Got that fixed fairly quickly by getting the windows disk out and choosing "repair" (Thank you Microsoft! You did something right!) Then the real shocker hit. One of my sticks of RAM wouldn't boot in any of the 4 memory slots. The other stick boots in any slot... :cursing:
I have to RMA both sticks now. There's no way around it. I guess I need to go see if my old motherboard and CPU still work. I'm not looking forward to going back to a Dual core setup.
