I wouldn't necessarily say that just yet. I'm sure the same thing was being said when FoD (fear of death) was introduced. It does seem like they are trying to push players to using the item shop but can you blame them? They spent 12 million dollars on a F2P game. I think everyone's going to keep playing for about a week to give the patch a chance.This new patch can't really be speculated on, people will have to try it for themselves. As to the new cursed item thing hopefully they will put in a daily quest to get the holy charms just like they have a daily quest for incense.

The people in charge didn't make the game for one, they are just in charge of the distribution.


I'm fine with FOD. It wears off overtime even if you dont wan't to buy it off. The way it will become is a PERMANENT damage to your gear that you HAVE to use the CS to clear. That is essentially P2W (not to mention the upcoming 250% bonus for Lvl 5 patronage) that will turn the game into P2W. When you're doing 3x more damage than someone with the same gear because you bought stuff from the CS, thats P2W.

They should make it subscription base or just throw the game in the trash if they really want to go that direction. Games based on using a CS to do anything ultimately fail (see Runes of Magic)

yea, i played Runes of Magic for awhile. dual class system was cool but yea needed cs to do anything
