Ok , this i've never had to do before and cannot seem to find a simple guide to remove the GPU shroud in order to completely clean it out. Thats the first thing. Next, i was considering removing the Heatsink from the GPU core and apply some MX-3 i got . Ever since i've had this thing folding, i've noticed the temps gradually increasing . In a 76 degree room and 100 % load/ 75% fanspeed, she gets as hot as 82c . Even playing L4D2 at 75 % fan speed, it got to 84c.
Im just worried one day ill leave it folding and forget to increase the fanspeed. The auto control does hardly anything, i've tested it for this purpose leaving it on auto. Jumped on sheeebbbzzz Rig and re-installed his forceware drivers , took a look at my GPU temp- 105c. There was fanspeed spikes and GPU usage drops .
