Need help playing

So, it's been almost a month now since i bought bad company 2, and i still cannot connect to an servers. Servers never show up when i look for them, regardless of what kind of filters i have on.

has anyone else had this problem/ know a fix?

C: -> Program Files -> Electronic Arts -> Battlefield Bad Company 2 -> BFBC2Updater.exe

You probably haven't updated BC2 to the correct patch version. This should fix it.

Update it, I had the exact same problem and remember to press that button every time when a new update comes

Yea I bought my copy from EA during that super sale. When it installed I had the same problem. If you bought it from EA then, when you add to steam just add the updater. It will open the updater then go into BC2. That's what I did and it works great.

if none of the above works, try fresh install, use updater from ur directory folder, and launch directly from program files executer

And also worth trying out even though this is for a totally different problem, try adding c:\users\YOUR NICK\documents\BFBC2 to your antivirus-software's exception list (never scans the folder, should reduce spawnlag etc).

Yes, that did wokr and i can technically play now. If only my internet wasn't terrible i could actually finish around
