does your internet die?

mine keeps dying on me, like literally dies, it'll stop working and ill have to wait hours before it comes back online

I've got the internet from the cable company here in Las Vegas and they keep telling me to do the same thing over and over again

"unplug it, count to 30, and it'll start working again, and if that doesn't work, we'll come out and charge you 300 dollars to fix it"

Hm, do you have a wireless router? If so log into your router and change which channel it works on. Sometimes your wireless signal can be cross with some one elses and it makes it hard for your computer to pick up your own signal. To the point that it dies like that. Mine has been going out recently but thats because I live about 40 minutes from Nashville in Tennessee so flooding has been causing problems for us. Also make sure you check that all connections are solid and possibly look and make sure someone isnt stealing your interwebz or something.

Nope i only have this problem when my power goes out.
