Server Crashing

I recently heard that the reason a server will randomly crash on the pc version of BC2 is because a Bot player has entered the server. EA put this in place to prevent botters from becoming ranked 1.

I wanted to know if this was true or not and what you guys think.

Its good and bad....

Good because it makes it tough to bot/cheat

Bad because its annoying for the legit players and makes the server empty out

seems kinda steep for a company to do but i see the logistics behind it.

If EA can detect the bot to know to crash the server... why not just ban the botter instead?

I doubt it's something EA implemented, though it could still be something to do with botters causing a conflict.

Thats a good point. I am only going off of what my friend told me. He is really smart with computers and games like this so I believe him but he still could be wrong.

Just wanted to know what you guys thought of it.
