Help!!!!

So...i dont know if this fits in tech help...but here goes

So I was playing mw2 when I joined a ground war lobby...only it was glitched into a scoutzknivez mod lobby o.o . After being in it for a few seconds i somehow gained 10 levels to level 70 (o.o once again). At this point I promptly left the server, afraid all my stuff was about to get hacked. But upon rejoining a different lobby in tdm, my uav was magically zoomed in/enlarged, and it is now really bothering me because it takes a huge chunk of the left upper screen

HOW DO I FIX THIS ?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!

Well, this could possibly have modified a configuration file. You could try finding an original config file.


Worst case scenario - you might have to re-install

The first thing i would try is to re-install mw2
I will look into this.

(at least you got 10 levels up )

Stop playing MW2
Reinstall it, don't worry about losing stuff. IWNet saves it to your account

I would say this is probably a game glitch, since there's no dedicated servers

Verify the game cache in Steam. Same thing happened to me and that fixed it.

1. Load Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

No need to worry about being in a hacked lobby, it happens a lot.

i tried reinstalling, and verifying the game cache...the uav is still messed up any other ideas fellas?
