Alright I just overclocked my Nvidia 9800GT graphics card after playing Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell : Conviction its tempature was around 60-67 degrees celsuis *fail spelling* is that normal and my idle tempature is 55 degrees celsuis is that a good tempature for my computer?

Both of those temperatures are well within operating limits.

So yes, the temperatures are completely fine.

Idle is a bit high, but im guessing your ambient temps are also. Most Nvidia cards are known to operate upto 105c . Though i would never run mine that high, that is the temperature before damage can occur. My GTX 260 was running hot- mid 80's under load and idle around 45. Took the thing apart and it was clogged full of dust chunks, cleaned off the core and copper heatsink surface, reapplied TIM (MX-3) . At 70f ambient, the Card is currently folding fully loaded at 60c.

To bring up a comparison:

I run a slightly OC'd ATI Radeon 4870 512MB GPU, and I own Splinter Cell Conviction.

My card idles @ around 47-50C when fan speed is set to 45% (I live in Arizona, it's freaking hot here, so that's idle temps in summer when its about 77-78F in my room).

On load, it goes anywhere from 53-63C, depending on the game, etc.

After playing Conviction, my temps read about 60C--so I feel that your card is running perfectly fine (and its definitely, as another member said, within safe temp ranges).
