Alright, here's the deal. One day, I went on youtube, and watched a video, went to eat and came back. THEN, a anti-virus scam of some sort installed on my computer. I INSTALLED NO-THING. And whatever .exe I try to open:

INSERT NAME HERE.exe is infected!

Even tskmgr.exe(Task Manager) is infected!

Internet, nope. Whatever website I go to, it says this website can harm your computer. Google, youtube, everything! I was about to EXPLODE in rage and frustration when I got a friend to come over and restore my computer back to normal. Everything is all good, but. The main issue. Lots of times, my computer keeps on asking me to re-install Flash Player. Understandable, BUT, When I accept the Pop up at the top, I allow it, then a small box says: GUI Error!
:( I restarted my computer, NOPE. GUI Error, I have no idea what that means. Aside from gaming GUIs. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Basically, the issue you're having is with Adobe's new download manager, which uses a shiny GUI. Fear not! There is a standalone GUI-less .exe that should get you on the road to flashy goodness in no time. Before doing so, run the Adobe uninstall to make sure you're running fresh (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html).

For Microsoft Internet explorer, use: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe

For Mozilla Firefox, use: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe

Please note you must have permission to write to the registry (Be your system's administrator)

Good luck!
