I need help choosing what to get for my birthday.
My budget is no greater than $350 plus shipping.
I've come up with two options so far, and you can add in your own if you want. My current specs are in my sig.

Option 1:
MSi GTX 470
Why the MSi? It comes with a free game. Can't pass that up.

Option 2:
Sapphire 5770 Vapor-X (for Overclocking/lower temps)
Sidewinder X4 keyboard
Sentinel Advance mouse

Looking for your guys' opinions.

Either will work fine, but it depends on your games. If you want the high fps or a bit lower for a nice keyboard and mouse.

What resolution are you playing on?

1920x1080, so I'd choose the 470 in that manner. I dunno, I haven't seen any 5770 benchies lately. Any new ones you don't mind linking?

I would suggest the ATI card, seeing as how the other card is just way too ridiculous of a price. Not sure how the drivers fair on the ATI side, but im sure you know to go onto ATI's site & get the latest driver, since video cards never have the latest driver update.

The GTX 470 is going to give you the better experience. There's no doubt about that.

Pillar: But the performance of the NVIDIA card is much greater than the ATI card.
Madpistol: Yes, but the new keyboard and mouse would be nice.
Well, these options depend on my budget. Anyone can suggest a new option, my budget is 300-350.

BASS ! I'm sure you have seen the tweaktown 470 OC results, dude go for the 470. Tom's dont seem to be what it used to.

Yeah, I know, but I'd really like new keyboard and mouse.
And due to certain budget restraints, there is a chance that I will not get the 470 :crying: That is definitely my first choice. I suppose these other options are a 'plan b'.

It was $319 at newegg when I purchased it.

But yeah at 1920x1080 that 470 would definitely be your type of card.
