I like how everyone is so focused on pins/insignia's -- Yes, they are great and I love getting them as much as the next guy. But people - remember why you buy and play games......
To have fun.
If you get to level 50 and quit - whats the point. you can still have fun, so do it! Why get to a point and stop? Play the game and have fun - thats my standpoint.

its lame they should have spread the weapons out more among the higher ranks because so far most of the officer ranks are now just for show on how much time your put in the game rather than for unlocking anything new and theres no real reason to really care about rank anymore.

I'm going to play until I have all platinum stars. Then i'll play for kill/death ratio. Then i'll play competitively.

Actually I think we all have that in mind:facewall: Oh I almost say they should skip every other lvl to get a new weapon or perk when unlocking stuff.

Well I am gonna keep playing till BF3 comes out
Unfortunately the consensus out there is that BC2 will be that last BF game for the computer. BC2 was already a game designed purely for the console and then ported to the computer. I hope they're wrong but it looks like you'll be playing BF3 on a 360 or a ps3.

ya maybe, lets hope they bring it to pc still, even tho i have a 360 id still prefer it on pc cause generally i loved the Battlefield games with mouse and keyboard and such, its easy and fun on consoles but pc just seems better, and u get free content most the time on pc lol

if bf3 goes to console only, i officially quit the battlefield series for good, been a BF veteran since the start, BF started on the PC and should remain on the PC and thats that. Back in the day with desert combat mod on 1942, shit was prime, and then bf2 and all the great mods that came out for it and control that you had compared to now. its pathetic

I doubt BF3 will move to the consoles, Dice knows that they have a nitch in the PC market thanks to MW2. They wouldn't give it up, especially when the PC version of the game had the most press around it.
