Here are my specs first

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
EVGA 780i SLI mobo
8 GB of RAM
3 Samsung F3 Spinpoint (RAID 0)
Q6600 @ 2.4
Corsair 750W
EVGA GTX 280

So here we go

A few weeks ago i installed windows 7 into my three hard drives and it worked without a problem and it was lightning fast. Until recently about 5 days ago when i was surfing the web and i had youtube open and listening to music. The comp suddenly froze up and the sound went robotic and crazy for about 10 seconds and then it went back to normal for about 10 mins then this would happens again. I thought that is was an audio driver error. So i downloaded the driver with a few freezes in between. then rebooted but that only made things worse. when i logged back in i wanted to also install my video and mobo drivers again, but no luck in normal booting becuase the freezes were so bad that they wont not even let me log in. So i went into safe mode and that ok until about 5 mins into it, it started to freeze up as well. So i said heck with it and wanted to just reinstalled windows 7 again. then in the second step Expanding what ever. it gives me an error ( i dont have the code with me now but i can post it) So i called EVGA and gave them the code and they said that it was a ram issue or it was a bad CD (Student Cd that i got from college). I ran MemTest86+ for 10 hours with no errors (i am going to test sticks tonight) and i am going to run the samsung ultity for the hard drives also.

if anyone else has any input or help they can give me that would be great

P.s. i have XP on my extra 320 gb (works great no problems)

If you can, may you post the error code it gives you?

It could be a faulty install.
It could be your RAM.
It could be something else.

But, the code is our buddy.

Well i tried installing it yesterday and it installed fine until i had to reboot and really install windows. but it just gave me a black screen and something about the kernel file cannot be found or what not. i talked to EVGA again and they said it was probly a HDD failure. (its not ram becuase my Xp on my extra 320gb it running 100% fine) So i need help with the ulitity samsungs ES tool. i am going to call them soon and test my hard drives. Wish me luck
