This is actually my dad's computer that's screwed up. He bought this card, and it did the title error. He sent it back hoping it was a faulty card, but it still happens with the second one. He put the new second card in my computer and it runs fine so far.
More info-
- It will either 'recover' or it will simply completely freeze and require a hard reboot
- Doesn't always happen immediately, usually when in video settings, playing a movie, or a game
- Card is obviously not the problem, but something else
- Power supply is good enough, but the case has like 5 fans built in. Could that be sapping enough power to cause the card to be underpowered?
