Hay guys, I am looking to make my screen run in HD. My problem is that my card does not have HDMI outputs. Can someone please suggest a card at least as good as the one I have now? If your monitor/HDTV specifically needs HDMI cables, you can buy one of these and plug it into your video card. It will even let you pass audio thru HDMI.
Note: if your monitor doesn't support HD resolutions (1920x1080, 1920x1200 or higher), switching to HDMI cables won't help you at all.

At your local best buy they are insanely expensive. I got my buddy a 10' for 10$ on newegg and he's been enjoying it comepletely. My card doesn't have a HDMI port but I have HDMI/DVI adpters that provide use, but I hardly EVER use my HDMI port on my monitor unless I have an extra console in my house to plug into.

the are much less expensive if you get them at a non retail store and since it is a digital cable it dosnt matter if you pay 10$ for it on pay 300$ for a monster cable the quailty of the singal will be the same.

Ya I don't know how they justify the prices. Just because its "ROCKETFISH!!!!...!!." or whatever the expensive names brands are lol.
