ventrilo trouble

so i'm having trouble downloading vent. i went to the website and downloaded the right file (Windows-64 Bit), and when I go to open Vent. it says that the file is corrupt or something along those lines. any help?

Thats very odd then. Could you re-do it and post a screen shot possibly?

try re-downloading the file - sometimes data gets corrupted during the transfer

have you ever had Vent installed before?

if you have, you may need to go through your registry and remove all associated entries from the prior install.

ive never had vent before, and i've gone through the uninstall process (as in i went to control panel and uninstalled it from the computer altogether) and tried it, and didn't work

OK, I will give you an alternative site to download Ventrilo from, one moment.

EDIT: OK, try [ame="http://rapidshare.com/files/387847250/ventrilo-3.0.5-Windows-x64.exe.html"]this[/ame] link.

1) Uninstall vent, if it is installed.
2) Restart your computer to clear out dead-ends.
3) Install Vent from the link I provided(It is the 64bit version).
4) Try to run Vent, if it gives you an error message, hit the "PRINT SCREEN" key on your keyboard, navigate to the Windows Paint program and hit CTRL+V. Then save the picture and upload it to somewhere like here.
