EVE Online is a massively multiplayer space simulation, an open sandbox where you can choose to battle pirates to protect empire space, battle head to head against other human pilots in epic fleet battles, or even participate in the player run economy by producing raw materials and complete modules for other players to use.

And this is the key to the EVE Online Experience: every action of yours has a ripple effect, spreading throughout the entire universe of New Eden. There are no instances or realms; everyone shares the same servers, the same market, the same friends and enemies list.

EdgeGamers is proud to bring our high standard of gaming excellence into this new universe, where our professionalism will grab hold of the local markets and our punk-busting skills will keep the pirates and griefers in line. We invite you to join us! Contact any member of the EdgeGamers Corporation and we'll happily give you a Buddy Program invite, or go to EVEOnline.com for more details.

Now I don't want to single you out it happens to alot of us. I checked your steam games and found this.

The moral of the story is we pay for so many games just to set them down after a month. You don't know if you will love or hate this game. Once you find a game you love you play it for years.....and with the amount of money new games cost. Its worth giving a 20$ game and 13$ a month to try out.

P.S Get a joystick and try out Sturmovik you will love it once you get taking off down!

You make a great point...

1. You pay 59 bucks depending on the game, usually there is a new game a month that everyone wants to play...

2. If you 'LOVE' eve, you really wont pay for a 'new' game when your paying something monthly, I know I haven't really bought any new games UNLESS eGO supports a new game that I 'need' to have just in-case something happens due to the position I am in.

3. You have MORE eGO members online to help you out and learn the ways of how to play...

4. GET EVE RIGHT NOW!!!

Guys, I got an EVE 21 day trial yesterday, and I'm absolutely loving the game. The graphics and game are phenomonal. Give the trial a shot, I don't think you'll regret it.

And all the people in the eGO Corp have given me fantastic help

Hello, I am currently Downloading EVE Trail but I am sure I wont buy it. Not that I am dissing the game, I have yet to pay a monthy fee for a game :) its just me. Sounds like this game is going to be different and FUN.

So my question is this....as a forum member can I still click on the "we invite you to join us" link even if I am going to be staying only for the Trail run?? Trust me I wont stay longer unless they extend it no matter how great the game is. So please let me know so I can join up with you guys for that short time :)

I picked up the trial a night or two ago after reading up on it some more, and I'm loving it!

I'm a busy person, with a lot of things I need to work on, artwork, keeping my job to support myself and my wife, etc. I can stare down the side of my rifle anytime, and that's all good fun. But I really needed something a little more relaxing, but still with a lot of depth. I needed something that required a bit more intellect that I could keep going back to.

I was doing City of Heroes for awhile, then I was doing Aion, and they were fun, sure. But they just felt too much like I didn't matter, like I was just another one of the nerds, except I was one who'd never have the time to grind a max level character.

Only a few days into the EVE trial, and it's a lot of fun. Maybe it's because I'm an artist, but the game is beautiful, and simply turning on autopilot as I eat my food is a joy. And one of my favorite things about it - I can train my skills without playing the game at all! I ran into a quest I couldn't complete until I'd equipped a specific module, which I didn't have the skill for. So I set up my training queue and logged off, went and spent some time with my wife.

And then I came back, and there you go. Got to play and explore even further.

EVE also impresses me immensely with it's organized and well designed interface and various HUD functions. Seriously, you can bet Aion didn't have a built in web browser or a jukebox - complete with the ability to create playlists of your own music to listen to while traveling the vastness of an incredible universe.

I'm still going through my trial, and I still have a lot to learn, but I hope you guys want more pilots, because I don't think I'll be giving this up after my trial expires.

The only thing that's a little disappointing to me is the activity of the Edgegamers public chat channel. I know we have a ventrilo server, but for those like me who don't so much frequent it, it's a little disappointing to know that a lot of the EdgeGamers members who ARE signed in are either AFK or not even paying attention to the chat. This though, would certainly be less of a problem if we just had more active members.

Thanks for introducing me to this game everyone. I'm not even normally one for the whole "space", spaceship, sci-fi thing at all. But this is something...different.

I love EVE did try the free trail and i will maybe start when i get a work and start to get money xD

One of the best games ever if you ask me :)

Two Listen, you may have noticed, but we have a 'pub' chat, and a 'private' chat. When you get into the crop you will see that our private chat is more active than the public.

We are still looking for MORE pilots, and MORE players to come to the dark side and start a trial....

Trials don't cost you anything, so try it out, see if you like it... !!! COME ON!!
