10/22 Ruger

Ok this is for all the men/women that know their guns, I went and bought a 10/22 .22 ruger ive heard they literaly last forever and they continue to work like they were brand new. Anyone have a long experience with the 10/22 ruger?

My friend has one. He has had it for five years, I think, and so far it has been a reliable gun. I personally don't like them, but I have heard really good things about them!

Thanks Mr.Smiley, Ive also heard alot of postive feedback on the 10/22; i know someone who has had one for over 16 years and its still good as new, this is my only .22 ive ever owned, I have a Glock 27 .40, and a Lee enfeild .303, which both kick pretty hard so haveing a smaller gun i think will be more nessessary to shoot because its alot cheaper lol.

I have owned my 10/22 for 15 years and 4000 rounds. You will wear clips out faster than you will the rifle with proper care. I customized mine last Christmas with a new bull barrel, volquartsen trigger, and custom thumbhole stock. I will try to post a pic Saturday.

Lol just go right to a M1 Grand... I know that you guys are talking about pistols but I love the rifles... Off hand is the best....

A 10/22 is a rifle. The MKII is a pistol.

I saw a show about the prized German pistol that was made for them. The Americans would collect them off the dead Germans. The pistol rated very good ofr performance and accuracy the only flaw they found was it did not work well when it would get dirty so they made a special holster for it
also if you were captured with this pistol by the germans you were killed on the spot.
