TF2 + Portal Gun!!

It's a closed alpha right now, but as soon as this goes open beta we simply must play this in an event!

One of our own, UMT (Use my Teleporter) created a mod for tf2 similar to this (but not the portal gun model) a year ago, so I'm surprised this is news?

But yeah, its cool.

Hmmm.. a forum search for "portress" only shows this thread. I figured someone had posted this, but wish they would have at least included that word so we could search for it.

Can anyone link me to Use My Teleporter's mod? I'd love to try it out on a lan with some friends.

Ive seen this before. But i had this exact idea a long time ago! It would be a video called "Capture the intelligence in 5 seconds" go into teleport, take intel, then teleport into your intel and cap it. Shame ive got exams and im too lazy to make it.

Is that open for public?? If so, i think we should try it out, it would be neat to see how it would work ingame.. The only question i have is, can the enemies use your portals too? That would be interesting.

Tip: Search the URL for the youtube video, people name their threads differently.

Hmm... I might be wrong, maybe I saw this on another forum... if so, I'm sorry for the mixup, and I think we should have a roadtrip to that when it comes out!

its not out publicly, the only server running it is password protected.

Yeah, they are only doing internal textures, but if valve stays on their no custom items policy on servers, they won't be able to utilize this mod.
