hey i hired a few people with some pretty funny resumes and covers letter, but i also saw them in person when they gave them too me too so i had a but more to judge them by.

One thing I have always done on every job questionnaire or interview is, when they ask if I have a criminal record or any felony convictions, I answer with "I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die". Their reaction will let me know if HR has a sense of humor and, if not, I probably don't want to work there anyway.

The only place that I did this type of application was for Burger King. I didn't actually want the job, but I really wanted to see what they would say when they read my resume. It was pretty funny because they called me and wanted to clarify a couple of questions that I put on the application.

The question said, "what is your highest education level?" To that I wrote that "your mom goes to college!" The manager was honestly confused and told me her mom didn't even get past middle school back in Europe lol.
