???Can't get MAUL verified???

so i have posted my application in the recruitors oficce and he got back to me saying i need to change my ingame name and get maul verified. so i went into DoD and changed my ingame name to the same handle i use for this site... now for the tricky part? he gave me a link in his response to the MAUL verification site. i copy and pasted my steam id from my ingame console, pressed the submit id button and it says my steam id is not a valid id? so thinking that thats how its supposed to be done i than got onto DoD and got into the =(ego)= avalanche server and played for a good half hour while watching the chat board and got no quote at all from MAUL? can anybody help me out its the last step in oder to become a member. thanks to everyone in advance.

moved to tech help, one of these lovely people here should be able to give you a hand, but remember that your steam ID should be in STEAM_0:X:XXXXXXXX format, and make sure there are no spaces before or after!

That is usually the culprit when you copy/paste from in game.
