This is CSS using the episode 2 engine, the same as tf2 and DoD;S

Its giving CS:S the attention it deserves.

Do you know when they update TF2 sometimes they ship out an engine update as well? Since TF2 and DOD run on the same engine they both get engine updates. Know why these updates happen? Its to fix bugs in the Source Engine. Bugs that STILL exist in the HL2 engine, the one CS:S runs on.

CS:S will not be ruined. Its being modernized to actually look respectable, which is saying a lot since CS:S is over 5 years old.

I'm happy Valve is paying attention to their moneymaker. They should of did it a long time ago.

Seems how there are still people that prefer 1.6 over cs:s there are bound to be some that don't like the update, but it looks pretty promising. I'm especially interested in the achievments and A CINEMATIC DEATH CAMERA, BABY! I haven't played it yet, but I hope they have a slow-mo option with that too

also, is there a black skin? they ct on the cover of beta has it and it looks damn awesome! I also just watched a youtube video....death cam stolen from tf2. I was hoping for something like what you see in all the ridiculous scrim videos.

Guys don't get pissed. They're just adding things to enhance the experience, not gameplay changes. It's giving the game the attention it deserves. I think this update will increase the amount of people who play CSS, so it's a good thing.

And quit freaking out about them adding hats or unlockable items. They did this with DoD:S over a year ago and they still haven't "TF2-ized" it.

Actually, they did change some gameplay, such as some things with awp shots
