DoD:S Upgrade Skin Pack

Already using the Waffen-SS total conversion pack, but these are mad nice too.. might give them a try. Nice post OP.

Edit: Didn't notice they're all weapon skins, even though I already have a few for the STG and MP these are even nicer.

Throw in some weapon sound replacements too =p
 
I'm a big fan of The Pacific theater because of HBO's The Pacific. It would be pretty cool to find a mod with jungle terrains.
 
Looks really good, downloading it now! Never used skins before in my 4 years of gaming so I'm looking forward to this!
 
skins look good but i wont do it im more Old Fashion and like to play games with the default skins but it does look awesome! Now when will DoD;S 2 come that would look cool.
 
I'm not gonna use them yet. Once I get totally dead of a source game, than I put on skins.
 
Okay, I'm a complete and utter n-o-o-b when it comes to skins. I have loaded both versions and put them both in the correct folder. When I play now, the players have the black and purple checkered pattern going on, and the guns are invisible as well. Is this because of my video card or something else?

I suspect an incorrect installation. Pink and black checkered means missing textures so I'm not sure you installed the materials folder correctly. Try reinstalling it by moving both the materials and models folder in the dod directory. You should have a changed DoDS wallpaper on the home screen when materials folder is installed correctly.
 
I like them! I'm not a fan of changing the player models though.. A simple high-res version of the players would be enough for me. No changing colors, hats or anything.

Got it to work this time, it looks awesome! Had a blast with it today, thanks a bunch.
 
These are wonderful, only if I knew how to put them in! I tried it all! anyone have teamviewer?? Add me of steam pleasee!
 
the files take the place of your current materials folder - drag them into the proper folder and allow them to overwrite

I added you to my steam friends and I have Team Viewer.
 
I'm having trouble installing these skins (not to mention never installed skins before). I downloaded the two links and dragged them into the designated dod folder; however, no change has been made. What am I missing?
