DOD SOURCE BUG/CRASH

HI EVERYONE...

LATELY IVE BEEN GETTING AN ERROR WHILE IN-GAME, AT A RANDOM POINT
IT WILL MINIMIZE DODs AND ILL GET A BOX THAT STATS "QUERYDODFAILURE"
CANT REMEMBER EXACTLY SHOULD OF TOOK A SCREEN SHOT.IT BEEN DOING
THIS FOR BOUT 3 WEEKS NOW.

IVE BEEN PLAYING ON SAME MACHINE FOR LIL OVER 1 YR, AND NEVER HAD
AN ISSUE.I JUST RECENTLY UN-INSTALLED THE GAME. AND RAN A FEW
SPYWARE/VIRUS CHECKS VIA NORTON/AVG/SPYBOT AND NO ERRORS.

IM NOT A NOVICE TO COMPUTERS NORE AM I A GURU.IVE BUILT THIS
MACHINE MYSELF AND ITS NOT MY 1ST. HERES SPECS:

STOCK FORM
ANTEC 430W PSU
INTEL P4 3.0GHZ(OC 3.6GHZ)
2GB RAM
320GB SATA
16X DVD BURNER
ATI X850(OC 560/560MHZ)
MIMO XR WIRELESS CARD(8MB COMCAST CONNECTION)
THATS ALL IM RUNNING
TEMPS AROUND 27c IDLE 34c LOAD (ALL AIR COOLED)

ILL REPOST AGAIN AFTER I RE-INSTALL DODs.

Well, i would be nice to a noob, but since he says he is not one, then i think the problem is directly linked tot he fact that he is yelling at us for help ... aka capslock.

However, it would be more helpfull if you could write down the error message next time because contrary to popular beliefe error messages really do help in diagnosing a problem.

just finished the re-installment of the game and same issue and
message. i also play COD4,FEAR n other games that require
more power and memory than this game.and all run perfectly
fine. also do video editing and photoshop and never had an
issue.

like my system specs state. p4 3.0ghz w/ht 2gb ram and 320gb sata hd with over 100gb free.
when i play games or use powerful software i make sure no other programs are running.

a quick search engine search found that others have had similar problems, one persons was caused by a photoediting program Acronis True Image 8.0, another's by his HP scanner, and yet another by versin 1 of some raid software he was using. This beggs the question, what was the last think which you installed before this problem began to occure?

to think of last software installed and which i took of because
didnt care for it was corel paint shop x3 pro and corel draw suite.
and ill try running the game and exit my raid utility. its onbaord
via raid tool nothing special.

ill try using a search engine to further your leads.

thanks everyone

i just closed the via raid tool, and via sound tool and bout to
launch the game.then ill further the research on them to see
if i can uninstall the software and check driver updates on
those utility's which i believe im using the latest.

so far so good. i closed all my apps made/ran by VIA chipsets
and no issues so far i played DONNER last night for hours with
no errors or game minimizing :)

ill report asap to DOD n give it a couple more days and respond
with a final update...APPRECIATE the help everyone.
 
still same issues + more. but have noticed it happens only in KALT when i play donner im error and troublesome free. and thats on
a full server to.

3 new errors and this is after re-install and virus/spywhere check

Well are you still getting the same original error messages? I was under the assumption that getting rid of your raid tool and other junk had solved that problem. Is this a new problem or are you getting both now?
 
thats cool,.. but how did it break your browser? I tried it several times and it goes right to the steam forums (even though it appears to be broken in two).
Plus, I was actually going to make it say "click here" but I always use the quick reply box instead of the full reply button which allows you to do col stuff in your posts.

So you caught me. The reason its that long is because GreenMonkey is a lazy mother trucker.

P.S. it doesnt break opera,... ANOTHER win for opera!

sorry wasnt that detailed in my last post. my 1st error message
is gone, but game will still minimize and exit it self only in kalt.
other servers im trouble free even with my new errors.

will check the links you gave me. your a genius man.appreciate
the patients and effort and apologize for the bother.
 
i took care of the problem i just re-installed windows. my active sync would not work on my new
phone so i said what the ??? and decided to re-install before my luck runs out.

appreciate the help everyone your the best.
 
I am getting the same errors Madbrasilian. I even reinstalled windows, updated my video drivers which only caused the game to run in windows mode only. But nothing seems to help and ironically its only the kalt server that crashes me
 
Well there were about 3 issues in this post, you have to be more specific in the 'same problem' you seem to be having. Did you read through each of the responces and follow the suggestion made to Brazillion or are you just posting that you have the same problem but expect me to say something different as a solution?
