An official explanation of why you're supposed to treat a certain group (along with everyone else) with respect? Or... what am I missing here?

People come and go, some leave as e's, some leave after becoming leadership. Some start new groups, some don't. Even if someone was banned, you still treat them with respect ("move on in a mature manner.")

I can understand that a new member might not know what happened, that doesn't necessarily mean there needs to be an official explanation.

If there was no particular reason as to why they left, why did the poll specifically ask how to treat them? Polls are done for a reason; to gather information, my orignal point was asking why we, the polls recipitants knew nothing about the context of the question?
Otherwise, the poll should have been less specific; "How will you treat other gaming clans on our servers?".
As the first 3 pages demonstrate, the information was so vague that we were going off on tangents about associating with the devil.

If there HAS been an issue which could cause concern over the two groups being in a server together (Which the question implies by specifying the group) and you want a serious reply from the community showing that they understand the situation (to carry on acting maturely) then you need to make sure that you wont recieve a 'poor' answer (cant quite phrase that last bit properly).
I have no issue of treating people fairly and equally on our servers, which I've been doing for the past 2 years with eGO, I wasnt suggesting for a second to mistreat anyone .

Why would anyone judge someone on their name? Some of the best players and people I know have similar names.

Judge people by how they ACT, not something as silly as a username or avatar.

Its not the first time this has happened nor will it be the last.

This shouldn't be that big of a deal to as many people that make it out to be one.

How we act does not matter based on who is playing in the server, we play like ourselves and respect everyone regardless.

Newer players wont really know the dj's but whoever they are for you, you should treat them impartially as you would with any player you meet.

I do remember the former TF2 leadership, and never knew why they 'resigned'.
