Hows BC2

Hello fellow edge gamers,
BC2 sounds like a fun game to get. I was thinking of getting it this summer, and I guess I just want some of your input if you like the game or not. Thanks alot.

its really fun imo, it can and is a tough game to master. with so many areas to be shot from. so dont be discouraged if your getting your butt handed to ya lol. you get points for completing objectives and kills, in turn you get better guns and gear. but all in all its a intense game and if you do get it i hope you enjoy it.

oh and on a side note, if you have played insurgency, is comparable to that game, the shooting style that is. you have to actively aim. but with much better graphics and action.

yeah im thinking about getting it to my friend has it 4 xbox360, its really good they have things in game like tanks,choppers,ATVS, ect ect

I just got it today and I was hesitating for a long time. Anyway I decided to just get it because they recently did a sale I missed out on, and the next one probably won't happen for a while.

My mind was blown... Its a great game if your computer can handle it, I'm glad I bought it. Everyone was telling me this before, but I had to play it to find out for myself.

It does seem to have a learning curve higher than most FPS type games. During my first gameplay, I unloaded my clip on a recon class only to miss. I'm coming from a TF2/DOD:S/CS gameplay style so it definitely didn't help me here.

Anyway the ventrilo guys sound fun (I been monitoring them secretly)... now I'm off to play with the single player to practice aiming those guns lol.


Summary: Got it today, mind blown.

Buy it and don't put it down. The learning curve is a bit steep, but is 100% worth it.
Truthfully, I was stuck between BF and L4D2, ME2 and a bunch of others. I don't regret my choice.

GET. THIS. GAME. NOW.

It is one of the best modern combat FPS games I have ever played. My only advice is that you ignore the intense rage you will feel in the very first round you play, because you will get absolutely destroyed. After that first round, you will (hopefully) understand what's up with this game and be able to hold your own in the eGO servers.

Oh, and definitely hop in the BC2 vent channels if you see anyone in there. We are always willing to join a server to either start populating it or keep one going.

I for one enjoy the somewhat realism of the game, especially in built-up areas. Tactics and teamwork are key to survival for helps advocate the realism. Hardcore is the only way to go though. I hate emptying an entire magazine of 5.56mm into center mass of an enemy and it doesn't even drop them. Apart from that, great game.

I definitely agree with this. While it may take some getting used to, Hardcore mode is the only way to go. Our Hardcore Rush Rotation server is a godsend and I spend most of my BC2 gaming time in that server.
