Fable III is coming to the 360 and PC later this year.

So..looking at this from different perspectives...is this a good move or a bad one?

If it were exclusive to the 360, people who have both PC and a 360 would get it on the 360, and would spend $10 more for it. Now that they have a choice, many of them will likely opt for the cheaper PC version.

However, with the PC option available, Microsoft will have a much larger audience to pitch the game to, and definitely combined increased sales.

So...why don't more console games release for PC in addition to consoles?

I would get fable.. but ima wait till it gets cheaper or just rent it... they take no time to beat and they get kinda boring after awhile.... dont get me wrong they can be fun but after so long everything gets old

Option 4 was definitely the best.

Ill just rent it for a week

hopefully it isnt as short as fable 2 was compared to fable 1

Or as linear. I have nothing against linearity, games done make you forget about that (The Witcher, I'm looking at you) but Fable 1 struck to me as the most blatant tube that ever existed. All it needed was a brief sewer level and I would have burned it at a stake.

I'll probably pick it up. Not sure if I'll actually pre-order, maybe if it's available on Steam.

I have low expectations for this, especially since they FAILED on Fable 2 after promising waay too much lol, plus it was insanely easy to beat.

Fable 1 was pretty good, 2 was meh, 3 will prob follow the same format of: huge hype, big promises, big let down.

Fable I was great for me, never played Fable II though.

Unfortunately, all Peter Molonyx games are over-hyped as 'The Next Greatest Thing in Games' and 'Big Breakthrough in How you Play Games' - I stopped listening to his pre-release pep-talks about his games long long time ago...

I enjoyed Fable, and in my opinion Fable II swapped any good story of any kind for great game play. Fun to play through and that's about it.

For me, Fable III does NOT look promising. They have announced the inclusion of micro-transactions for in game items not to mention the whole thing is supposed to be set-up to be NATAL capable. Not to mention beyond that the concept of game play seems even stranger with your character as the ruler of a kingdom.

Given all the great concepts that were supposed to happen that didn't (Free-world, Co-OP, Ducttape hit it right on the head with his comment) they are going to have to work pretty hard to sell me on the third one.

im gonna get it for 360 i think. Its a realy good game i have the first one but not 2nd.

Fable 1 was one my favorite games. Fable 2 sorta felt like a gigantic expansion. But after looking at a few videos of Fable 3, I think it looks pretty promising. I would enjoy this type of game more on the xbox than PC, thats just how I am. I enjoy big open world things more on console for some reason. Plus, might they use Natal on this game? (for 360)

The second wasn't THAT big of a disappointment. I found it rather enjoyable. And I never even got an STD in fable 2...i'm such a good person.

I managed to get like 15, yet I dont think they knew about that many back then
