Speaking of the RPK. Does anyone know for sure if it's the RPK 47 or RPK 74? Heavier and longer barrel aside, it seems the accuracy on it is so much better than the AK it would almost have to be the 74 firing the higher velocity 5.45mm round. I love it when games get the small details right.

That's a tad small of a round for the RPK.
ANYWAYS, AKS74U, RPK, AK47, M4 Med/Aimpoint... any of the snipers. But my BEST is AKS74U.

Yeah i really dont, mainly because that's all i use on the m203 is the nade launcher to move our team forward then swap to m4. I cant get into close quarters fights with it so i dont like using it.

So it is an RPK 74? Then yeah, it fires 5.45x39mm Russian. And no, it's not really that small of a round Gunney considering the M249 fires about the same size round (5.56x45mm NATO). The round was specifically designed in the mid 70's to have similar ballistic characteristics as the 5.56 NATO round. Higher velocity, more accuracy and a larger wound channel than the 7.62x39mm round.
