Valve takes a stab at IW and Activision

IDK - valve employees do have lives beyond there own games, shoking yes i know. They play everything, from torchlight to MW2 and everything in-between. Though I agree that IW made some mistakes with MW2, you must admit that valve has made there fair share as well.

Its a simple fact with game development and design - you can't please your entire comunity, but you will always gain new fans and also your dedicated fan base will remain, mostly.

We'll see how things pan out for gaming, with a bunch of new highly anticipated titles coming out this year....
 
valves mistakes are pretty small as far as I'm concerned most of theres are with updates...updates that usually aren't required of them but they choose to add things for free either way i have had very little trouble with any valve game ever released they were all always fun, they all always worked correctly with minor errors even in some cases when at the time my computer could barely handle it but i could still play fine, and valve always seems to at least try and make things right.

Either way i think if valve made a HUGE mistake that upset many of there fans rather than trying to prove it wasn't a mistake and trying to defend it they would do everything in there power to fix it
 
as much as valve has its problems or we want other things from them (hello HL2 Episode 3) it's hard to be mad at them when companies like Activision are around

And yes, this is awesome, now i do wish valve made mw2, then they could get involved with the community more and see what people like.

If IW didnt go crazy and make all these changes then they could have EASILY got double the amount of sales.
 
Every Gaming company makes mistakes. The difference between Valve and IW is that Valve actually tries to fix their mistakes (for free I might add), as well as the fact that although it takes a while (HL2:ep3) for some of their games, at least they're testing them and making sure they will be good quality games unlike some companies we know (EA).

That's why Valve is the best. Oh yeah and they listen to their community a lot more than any other company.

With TF2, they have listened to the player base more than any game ever I have played imo.
