New ego event ideas!

Have you ever gotten frustrated about seeing an event start but was too lazy to head to the forums to see what its about?

Well fret no more! My idea is to make different graphics for the event pages that associate with what its about. Also, give a short summary of what the event is about in the event page when you click the notification that says event has started. I still think that you should go to the eGO website to look for the password...

what i meant was the main web directory is still there but it also haves a pic instead of the TF2 logo

Simon when u get an event reminder from the eGO TF2 group and u go to the page on the steeam group, it just says when the event is and the name. He just wants a li'l explanation of what that event is rules, etc.

Not really... I fit my gaming time around events?

Its just, um being on vent is a good resolution for this, hopping on and asking for the password or info about the event. This way you have FIRST HAND information from the Event Co-ordinators themselves.

i guess the easiest way is just to join the server when you see the announcement. usually the server is still empty at that moment and not pw protected

Im not to lazy to look on the forum's where its about. Everything is fine the way it is i think.
If you really wanna join the event and have fun, then you would take the time to look on the forums, if not, go eat some cookies or something.

i believe if you too lazy to click on 3 links on a forum to find Server/Password or even PM a person that is in the event to get the password or even better get in Ventrilo cause the password is always in there before the event starts o.0!!!!

you dont need images to do all that. got plenty of ways explained above to do what you say and alot less time consuming .

Thanks for the suggestion - however there is no need for us to change how we let people know about the events. Between the forums, the calendar and our Steam announcements there are plenty of opportunities for people to know what is going on if they take the time to do so.
