Can someone tell me what I should start doing next, or should I keep following the Tutorial? Link.

Follow the tutorial, from there you can do whatever you feel necessary. Personally I would work on raising all of your mines (crystal, gas, cell) as fast as you can to level 12 and start building the refineries for each type. It will cost a lot of initial resources, but the faster you can get a large resources income, the faster you'll be able to build stuff. Then as you're leveling up your mines, research the technology for better mech chasis', and start making mechs that can farm for you. I feel like I could write a book about this, but just so I don't keep rambling on, I'll stop here. If you have any further questions about what you should do, let me know.

If you are beeing attacked alot, just build many bunkers. That worked for me.
I'm bunkered up to 40k now, no attacker gets any ressources. All I have to take care of are my harvesters.
