I cannot play any of my steam games. And to be honest, it's making me sad.

This message keeps popping up: The Steam servers cannot handle your request right now. Please try again in a few minutes

Or something of that nature.

I tried deleting the ClientRegistry.blob file, which did not work.

Suggestions?

The only thing that might help is prolly switch your Download Region to something else. This can be found under Settings > DOWNLOADS > DL Region.

It's none of that. They just released a bunch of updates for almost all source games. Everyone's trying to DL them at once and it's taking up a motherload of bandwith. This happens every time they release an update. Just calm down and wait 1 or 2 hours.

So if I get the message

"The steam key is too long" now that I can in fact get into the game, is something along the same lines Watersnake?

I've been playing source games since 06 and have never experienced this message (and yes I have tried to play during/immediately after an update). Just sayin' lol.

Well I can get into the game now, but now I'm getting the message "Invalid Steam key length"

Which means what?
