I looked through the forums and didn't notice if somebody had already done this but i was wondering what peoples top 5 movies would be so i thought i would get a thread started.

How many Orson Welles films have you seen? May i recommend Mr. Arkadin AKA Confidential Report and The Trial, which is an adaptation of Kafka. As much as i like Kane i am much more attracted to his other films, especially the Trial mainly because Anthony Perkins is so amazing in that, more so than in Psycho i think.

1. 300 (Lots of killing, good moral story. "THIS IS SPARTA!")
1.5 Full Metal Jacket (huge fan of Kubrick, and Hartman is one of my all-time heroes. "I will gouge out for eyeballs and [do unpleasant things to your skull]!")
2. Avatar (blew my freaking mind in 3D. "Aaaeeeeyaaaeeeah!")
3. Aliens (Heck, half my jokes and obscure innuendos come form this movie. "Game over man, GAME OVER!!!")
4. Terminator 2 (Getting on the robots good side for J-day. "There is no fate but what we make.")
5. Robocop (nothing shapes a 4 year olds life choices like watching a little bit of the ole' ultra-violence. "Well, give the man a hand!")

I only like movies that I used to watch/play during my childhood. I like all types of movies, but the ones that bring back memories are these movies, even if they aren't old school.
