FPS problems with Win 7

Alrighty, I upgraded my desktop from XP to Windows 7 a few days ago. I LOVE 7! But, one bad thing has came up. Games are getting HORRID FPS. On XP I had 100+ on CS:S, now im getting 20-40.... Any suggestions?!

Nope, like I said, on XP I had well over 100.

2048 MB RAM (2 GIG)

NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS

Windows 7 Ultimate

Either way, download the latest Nvidia Drivers if you haven't already.

Cant say much other than I threw on 7 once and noticed the same thing. Im back to XP for now =/

Hmm try posting in the steam powered forums. Is it just steam games or all games?
