I bought a new mouse and I enjoy everything about except for one aspect: scrolling in source games. I've grown accustomed to using the scroll to change weapons, however this new mouse makes it impossible to control the speed at which weapon switch, so the slightest nudge on the scroll wheel sends me 3 weapons ahead of what weapon I really want. I've already tried adjusting the scroll speed through the program the mouse came with, but that only seems to affect scrolling on web pages and such. It is still a task for me to choose what weapon I want in a source game.
Is there a way to adjust the weapon change speed through source? Or should I just return this mouse and buy another? Thanks
