Is the Veteran Server EVER going to come back online

seriously i feel so handicapped because most people seem to be vets and i feel i am deserving of it considering I'm a long time Battlefield player and the vet statues gives you a bunch of free upgrades early on which would be nice because I've had the game for a while and i feel handicapped because EVERYONE has better weapons than me half the time i have to steal dead peoples kits just to survive. Even on hard core if im playing assault i can start shooting first with the basic assault weapon but since he has a far better weapon he still usually wins, i usually an only get kills if my enemy has no idea im even there or i take the cheap way out and use the grenade launcer

The only thing you get from having a Veteran Rank of 1 is a Garand, which technically speaking the M14 is the same except has more ammo and reloads faster.

You just need to rank up bud.

Veteran status and the wep you get is pointless, just grab a kit and stick with it and before you know it you will get good with it and start ranking up and unlocking the better weapons. Best way to rank up is wait for Duality to play cause he normally has fraps going on and it slows his FPS so bad he is an easy target... Till he turns it off and then just join his team.

anyway anyone know why i still cannot even FIND ego bfbc2 servers? lol can some people friend me so i can join in a game sometime and just favorite the server when i get there because the connect function doesn't work at all for bfbc2 on here and when i search i get a ton of results but none are actually ego servers

Search in the search box eGO
Then click servers thing in the list and look for eGO(rush,hardcore rush,conquest)

Or to make it easier, just search =(eGO)= and all of our servers load-up ^_^

But in agreeance with everyone else, the M1 Garand is pointless. It doesn't record any time/kills you get with it (So you can't bronze-star it or anything like that). The M14 does a perfectly good job at feeling the weapon, without having to wait for EA (And maybe Romania) to get off their backside and fix something

If you're talking about http://veteran.battlefield.com/ , the only thing you need to activate your veteran status and get the rewards (Garand) in-game is to get on EA website, login and then look for the tab My Soldier, then Veteran. Or maybe you're talking about the weapons (Thompson and M1911), these were given out when you were pre-purchasing the game at the beginning.

The easy way to level up? go medic... get the MG's and the health packs so you earn many points. you'll unlock many stuff if you hit 20, then try other classes it's hard in the beginning and the game it's pretty bored, but once you get good stuff... you'll love it

im like level 4....the most points iv ever gotten in a game that wasn't due to some massive medal was liek 1200, i got like 5300 once but i got a medal worth 5000 and my combat score was 300 ^^;...

also i tried searching those there is no ego servers in my browser list what so ever

Search =(eGO)=, we have 3 servers up as of now and they are usually full.

Make sure you take off all of your search limiters (like pb, full/empty, etc) and search for =(eGO)=

the servers should show up. make sure you are on the latest patch as well.
