Hey man! I also switched from TF2 not that long ago. You will LOVE BC2, especially once you start getting unlocks. My advice is to just have fun, get all the dogtags you can, and stick with one weapon you like until you get a Platinum level.

Just get in there and have fun. See you in game!

Use the medic class until level 11. Then switch to assault because you will have magnum ammo (increased bullet damage) and the assault rifles become WTFOWNAGE-machines. Use assault until you unlock the AN-94 Abakan, which is also known as the LOLYOUGOTPWNED gun.

From there, it's smooth sailing

Welcome to our division :-D It's nice to have more players!!! and... Ginger is right stick to medic till 11 o 15 (to get a nice decent stuff) then switch to any other class you prefer (Assault, Medic, Recon, Engie) get all the weapons and ENJOY the game!

Focus on situational awareness and aim for the head. ;]


Playing on Hardcore will really improve your aim and reactions since it forces you to use your ironsights, and is more fun once you level up enough to stand a chance.

I much prefer sniping... I played medic a bit but I despise the machine gun you start with (PKM). Sniping for long range headshots gets you pretty pretty points anyways, it's only taken me a few nights to get to 12.

And play late at night. Me, Crucial, and St0ned pwn up Hardcore Rush late at night.
